What about parents and their duties to partiicpate in their kids learning process?
How can a teacher show his /her authority without being rough?
What can we do as teachers to help weak students improve their language learning?
We can pose many questions realted to our teachers role,but who csn answer them if the student-teacher´s expected participation is scarce or better to say,it is nule.

How can I promote autonomous learning on my students, I mean, I want they to learn more about English, but some students have told me that they don't like English because here in Colombia Spanish is spoken, not English, so what can I do?

in some way evidences of what happens in our society.
Misconceptions and low selfsteem make students think like that about learning another language.
Our identity is composed by several factors, such as culture, language, family, education and moral values , and so on.These are a part of our life, and some of them will have a bigger influence, but they all tell something about who we are.
The image we have of ourselves is formed throughout the years across the different messages that we have received from those that surround us, and its interiorización creates the idea we have of ourselves.

1. What happen with parents compromises according to their kids' learning process?
2. Do parents thing the compromise of learning is only schools?
Maybe this can help Hans and Angie Alejandra, it helped me with a student: When a kid tell you that English is not important you can tell him/her that maybe we do not speak English here, but people admire who can speak and understand English so if he/she wants to be admired, famous, important and with a charming style it could be good to learn English. You can ask your student if he/she does not want to be all of that. It almost always work.
Ihave nooticed that many of my students are too shy and almost they do not participate in class, How can I encourage them to participate more in English class?
Likewise, children do not like to work in group or some only want to work with their friends How can I change this and make students to work collaboratelly without discrimination?
According with the question of the teacher about homework I can say that we have to grade the homework because if we are too flexible children are going to be relaxed and little by little they are going to be irresponsible,what we can do is to re-evaluate the kind of homework we asssign I mean, to make it fun, relevant, enjoyable, interesting not just to do sentences. Gardner the author of multiple intelligences said that: "Teachers should devote energy to creating homework that is stimulating and provocative rather than banal."
what can a teacher do when his/her student accidentally makes 'pis' in the classroom?
It maybe can helps to Angie Alejandra: you can show to your students the English as a tool if you connect the previous knowledge and use it as base to develop the new one topic.Try to create classes in which the students use their environment to associate the topic and in which they can use, too, the acquired knowledge about the life.
Hi all.Regarding about the students responsibilty with homework and academic work, I totally agree with you when it is related to little kids.What about young and adult learners?
Will "bad grades" TEACH them responsability?The nswer is not of course, but sure It will help the stduents to see the importance of being responsible and autonomous as well.
